Pneumatic Line-Up Clamps are utilized in the pipeline industry to assist during welding. A pneumatic clamp is connected to an air compressor and placed inside of a joint of pipe that will be welded to another joint of pipe. The clamp then travels to the meeting point of the two joints, and is expanded utilizing air from controlling compressor to hold the pipe in place during welding of two joints.
