WMPD provides pipelayers to Katrina clean-up disaster in New Orleans

Worldwide Machinery is providing B&S Equipment Contracting with pipelayers for the Katrina clean-up effort as a means of rescuing displaced boats following the hurricane disaster.
These pipelayers will be used by the Corps of Engineers to initially mobilize 87 boats that were displaced miles away from their docked locations as a result of the rising waters and high winds. Once the waters receded, the boats remained stranded on dry land, in many places, impossible to get to with traditional equipment.
